Help save a species

Golden Headed Lion Tamrin

At Bristol Zoo Gardens we’re more than a visitor attraction, we’re also a leading conservation and education charity. And when you visit us, you directly contribute to our conservation work. But we need to raise more money to help animals and endangered species around the world.

We get involved in an increasing number of field conservation projects, which help protect threatened plants, animals and habitats. These projects range from breeding programmes here at Bristol Zoo, to conserving species in the wild – such as lemurs in Madagascar and orphaned gorillas in Cameroon.
